The History of Joshua Generation Films
The film production company Joshua Generation Films, Inc. was started by its founder and CEO Zoë Naomi Bridgeman in 2003. The vision: to tell stories for such a time as this; to portray the realities of our past in connection to the present; to tell stories of human struggles and triumphs, revealing the hopes and fears of humankind. Lastly, to tell stories that speak to people on a level other than the physical. All while telling theses stories through a “third eye” lens, stretching the mind to think outside the box.
The Future of Joshua Generation Films
Joshua Generation Films intends to tell stories of all genres through film. We intend to be innovators and trailblazers in the film industry by telling stories through voices not often heard in mainstream entertainment. We intend to create quality independent films that attract the interest of everyone from the casual movie goer, to the seasoned thespian. We intend to make films for festival release as well as theatrical and international release. We intend to grow as a company and become a known presence creating a positive impact, not only in the independent world, but in the industry as a whole.
